A massive copper statue of King George III positioned on a large rise along "The Long Walk" about two miles from Windsor Castle in Windsor Great Park. (For a hint at the scale, each layer of stones is about three feet tall.)

Part of "The Long Walk" between Cumberland Lodge and Windsor Castle. The "Copper Horse" statue is just visible on the horizon in the distance.

lit up at night stands out as a massive fortress -- stark white in contrast to the pitch black sky surrounding it.  Amazing.

At least when I did this, I had two shoes that were basically the same color and style. This woman has one red and one taupe show. The red one is a heel and the taupe one is a flat. Personally, I blame the fact that so much good wine is so easily available.

This church had been standing for 500 years when Columbus first sailed to America. I wonder if anything our generation builds will be here 1,000 years from now.
